Husky Roadshows are designed by SUBOG and the Department of Student Activities to provide roundtrip transportation for UConn undergraduate students attending sporting events at Rentschler Field and the XL Center. Husky Roadshows are intended to increase students’ ability to attend off-campus home games, while classes are in session, and to support UConn athletics in general. It’s important to note that Husky Roadshows provide roundtrip bus transportation ONLY; students are responsible for securing their own game tickets from Athletics. Husky Roadshow tickets must be obtained at least 48 hours in advance of the schedule event. Please bring your UConn student ID with you to pick up a ticket. Students must present a printed ticket in order to board the bus. Tickets on phones and tablets will not be accepted. Students can obtain tickets at the Student Union Information Center, which is open daily from 10am – 10pm.
If you are an individual with a disability requiring an accommodation to a Husky Roadshow, please call (860) 486-3423 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Football Roadshows tickets provide roundtrip transportation from the Storrs campus to Rentschler Field. For this fall, all Football Roadshow tickets will be FREE to UConn students. Tickets will be available to be picked up beginning on Monday, August 28th at the Student Union Information Center.
Buses will depart from the Austin Building beginning 2 1/2 hours prior to the schedule game time. The last bus will leave UConn 1 1/2 hours prior to the scheduled game time. Students must have a valid UConn student ID, a game ticket, and a bus ticket to board a bus.
Students are not allowed to leave anything on the bus, nor bring items that are not permitted in Rentschler Field such as umbrellas, backpacks, large handbags, coolers, and banners/signs. Food and beverages are also prohibited on the buses.
Buses will leave Rentschler Field immediately following the game as they fill up. The last bus will leave promptly 30 minutes after the end of the game. The earliest a bus will leave from Rentschler Field is the end of the 3rd quarter.
Students are responsible for their actions on the buses and while at the game. The University Code of Conduct will be enforced, and violators will be reported to the Office of Community Standards.
